Wonderful Walks
(White House
and Ellipse)
Facing 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,
go left to 15th Street, right on
Constitution, right on 17th Street
and right on Pennsylvania Avenue.

At E Street you can walk much
closer to the back of the White
House for a better look at the
beautiful porticoes.

This walk as described
is about one mile.
Take a walk around
the White House.

On the 17th Street side you'll
pass the Organization of American
States, National Daughters of the
American Revolution Headquarters,
the American Red Cross and the
Corcoran Gallery of Art.

At 17th Street and Pennsylvania
Avenue you'll see the Renwick
Gallery and Lafayette Park, just
beyond.
